Berkshire Choral International with the Richmond Symphony

About the Event

In its 38th season, Berkshire Choral International provides audiences with stirring performances of the first rank. The 120-voice BCI chorus will join with The Richmond Symphony to present Morten Lauridsen’s poignant Lux Aeterna and Benjamin Britten’s dramatic Saint Nicolas, conducted by Tom Hall, Music Director Emeritus of the Baltimore Choral Arts Society. Now a radio host on WYPR, Hall also appears each year as the moderator of the Rosenberg-Blaustein Distinguished Artist Recital Series at Goucher College, and he is the co-author of "The Bach Passions in Our Time: Contending with the Legacy of Antisemitism," published on-line by the Institute for Islamic Christian and Jewish Studies. Tenor soloist Marc Molomot will join the cast for the Saint Nicolas. This is BCI's premiere in Richmond.
