About the Event

Get a full operatic love story in less (WAY less) time than it takes to watch Titanic! La Bohème: Rodolfo Remembers follows a once-starving artist who has found success but still thinks about that time a girl knocked on his door.  They quickly fell in love and gave major Ross and Rachel vibes ("break" included) way before that was a thing. This 90-minute take will light a fire for newcomers and fan the flame for people who already love the original. Conducted by Adam Turner and Directed by Keturah Stickann. Concept and Adaptation by Keturah Stickann and Bruce Stasyna for San Diego Opera.

Please note, the following safety protocols are in effect for this performance:

Patrons for Virginia Opera’s performances are required to provide proof of vaccination or a negative COVID test taken no more than 72 hours before the performance. Patrons will be asked to show proof of vaccination, or the negative test, with a photo ID prior to entering the theater.

COVID-19 Policies

ASM Richmond is committed to the health and safety of our patrons, guests, artists, performers, crew, and staff and we will continue to follow the latest health guidance and protocols. In light of the changing conditions with COVID-19 and the Delta variant, we are working closely with all of our promoters to ensure the health and safety of our patrons, staff, and guests.

Currently, Dominion Energy Center is operating at 100% capacity and is strongly encouraging all patrons, whether vaccinated or not, to mask while at the venue. We do not have a vaccination or negative test requirement in place as a venue, although promoters of our upcoming shows are considering multiple options, including the possibility of masks, vaccines, and COVID-19 tests.

At this time, this show does have  additional requirements in place for patrons outside of the standing venue policies:

Patrons for Virginia Opera’s performances are required to provide proof of vaccination or a negative COVID test taken no more than 72 hours before the performance. Patrons will be asked to show proof of vaccination, or the negative test, with a photo ID prior to entering the theater.

If there are any changes to the requirements prior to the show, patrons will be notified by email and the event page on the venue website will be updated.

We look forward to welcoming you back to our venues, and to providing a safe and enjoyable experience!
